Uudenmaan Rotukissayhdistys (URK) was founded 1984 and club is the fifth oldest cat club in Finland. Our members are mostly located in southern Finland. URK organizes one or two international show in the year.

URK is a member of Suomen Kissaliitto Suomen Kissaliitto (SRK) is the Federation for Finnish Cat Clubs. SRK was founded 1975, and has 11 member clubs. URK is also through SRK a member of the international organisation FIFe (Federation Internationale Feline). FIFe is the organisation of over 30 mostly European member countries, which has uniform rules.

You can join URK even though you don´t have a purebred cat or a cat to take to the cat shows. As a member you can take part in all of our happenings, receive the Kissa-magazine 5 times a year and also get home our club magazine.
